progress

I made some progress today. Got much of the lower frame for the base of the trailer constructed. 

I selected the profile for my build.

Coroplast (corrugated plastic) construction?

I have been thinking about the ins and outs of using Coroplast as a construction material. Maybe a metal or wood frame with coroplast exterior and interior panels. Insulation maybe?

Seeing the various velomobiles and survival shelters out there made from this stuff and that fact that ultimately wood does not like water has really got me thinking... Why not?

This Teardrop Journey

My name is Matthew and I have been intrigued by teardrop campers ever since I can remember knowing about them. I think I have known about them forever. The purpose of this blog is to document my journey. I am planning to build a teardrop again. The second trailer will be a fresh start.
